About 3 Summits

Established in 2006, 3 Summits for Nepal is an annual climb of glaciated volcanoes in the Pacific Northwest to raise money to assist causes in Nepal. 100% of funds raised from these climbs go to help grassroots organizations in Nepal that work for the betterment of the lives and for the education of Nepalese children.

Eddie Minkoff








Eddie joined 3 Summits for Nepal in 2008 and is currently in his fourth year with the organization. He strongly believes in the 3 Summits model of connecting experts and novices to share in a love for the mountains, children's education, and the amazing country that is Nepal. Eddie is a 2009 graduate from the University of Washington MBA program and currently works at Starbucks Coffee Company Headquarters in Seattle, WA.

Jwalant Gurung









Jwalant is a Nepal native and believes in empowering his fellow country-people through education. As an MBA student at the University of Washington, he founded 3 summits for Nepal in 2006. He currently manages his family-owned Kathmandu, Nepal based trekking company Crystal Mountain Treks and has recently started a US based travel company, Grand Asian Journeys which specializes in travel to Asia.

Abi Devan









Abi has been climbing for over 10 years and has been a part of 3 Summits for Nepal from day one. He is a 2008 graduate of the University of Washington MBA program and currently lives in Lander, WY, where he works for the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS).
