Welcome to 3 Summits for Nepal 2010

Climb with a Purpose -
For the last four years, University of Washington MBA alumni, students, professors, and friends have joined together to raise money for children's education in Nepal and at the same time to reach the summits of major mountains in the Cascade Range.

The climb with a purpose idea started in 2006 and the tradition will continue this summer as we plan to climb Mount Adams (12,281 ft), Mount Baker (10,781 ft), and Mount Rainier (14,411 ft).

We had an amazing 2009, smashing our $20,000 fundraising goal with construction on the Shree Pathivara Primary School beginning in January 2010. Board Members Jwalant Gurung and Eddie Minkoff visited the school for the groundbreaking in January (click here for Eddie's account). We also had great success in our climbs with 14 out of 14 climbers reaching the top of Mount Adams in June and 16 out of 20 summitting Mount Rainier in July.

In 2010, Three Summits has again partnered up with Crooked Trails, who will expand our reach beyond the UW MBA community and will help us make all payments they proccess tax deductible.
